Co-hosted by Shanghai Open University and the National Commission of the People’s Republic of China for UNESCO, the upcoming 2016 International Conference on Leadership and Innovation and UNESCO UNITWIN Network International Training Workshop will be held at Shanghai Open University on 6-7 November.
The theme for the conference is “Leadership and Innovation for the Future in the Open and Distance Learning”. Parallel sessions will also be organized to encourage discussions on research, sharing of practices, and promotion of new achievements on the construction of leadership in the open and distance learning.
The conference has issued a call for papers on the following themes: Development of Institutional and Managerial Leadership, Construction of Teaching Team Leadership, Management and Quality of Branch Schools, Market Development and Mechanism Innovation, Learning Analytics and Big Data in Education. All the submitted papers will be reviewed and selected by the Expert Committee for the publishing of conference proceedings, and the excellent ones will be recommended to the editorial board of the Open Education Research journal. The academic paper should be innovative, and has not yet been published in public magazines or journals.
Format of the paper: The title page should include title, author’s name, working unit, and contact information.
Papers (5000-8000 words) should be sent to email@example.com before 10 October, 2016. While sending the paper, the email subject should be “Papers for the international conference.”
Language: The official languages of the conference are Chinese and English. Once the paper is selected by the Expert Committee for presentation, a bilingual PPT should be provided, and English is preferred when making a presentation.
